Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
ScreenerCompanion ("we," "us," or "our") operates the AI Interview Plan Generator at app.screenercompanion.com. For privacy inquiries, contact us at privacy@screenercompanion.com.
2. Information We Collect
2a. Information you provide
- Account information: Name, email address, and authentication data collected by Clerk (our identity provider) when you sign in with Google or Microsoft.
- Payment information: Billing details processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
2b. Information generated by your use
- Credit usage records: We store the number of credits consumed per generation in our database (Amazon DynamoDB). These records do not include resume content or generated output.
- Consent record: When you accept our AI Transparency Notice, we store the timestamp of your acceptance in your account profile.
2c. Information we do NOT store
- Resume text or files
- Job description text or URLs
- Generated interview plans
- Candidate names, emails, or any candidate personal data
These items are processed in your browser session only and never transmitted to our servers.
3. How Resume Content Is Processed
When you generate an interview plan, resume and job description text is transmitted from your browser directly to one of the following AI providers, depending on the model you select:
| Model | Provider | Data Processing Terms |
|---|---|---|
| Claude | Anthropic, PBC | anthropic.com/legal/privacy |
| Gemini | Google LLC | policies.google.com/privacy |
| GPT-4o | OpenAI, LLC | openai.com/policies/privacy-policy |
API usage data is not used by these providers to train their models under their standard API terms. We have Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) in place with each provider.
Before transmission, our application automatically removes certain personally identifiable information from resume text (name, email, phone number, LinkedIn and GitHub URLs) and restores it locally in the generated output after the AI response is received. This minimizes PII exposure to third-party processors.
Home addresses are not automatically stripped. Users should manually remove candidate home addresses from resume text before upload if their data handling obligations require it.
4. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
